Cancellation Policies


Atlanta’s Most Wanted Entertainment Co. (AMWEC) appreciates your business, and we feel that we can offer you the highest quality of entertainment and services possible. We select only the finest entertainment and services to represent Atlanta's Most Wanted Entertainment Co. (AMWEC). Therefore, in order to better serve you, we feel the necessity to implement fair and reasonable booking/cancellation policies to ensure this level of quality.

Monday – Thursday Bookings:

Should client decide to cancel for any reason after a performer(s) and/or service has been booked for an event, the client agrees to forfeiture of any deposit, paid or unpaid, set forth in the terms of the booking, to AMWEC. If the cancellation is less than 7 days in advance of the date of the event, the client agrees to forfeiture of the total amount (deposit + balance) set forth in the terms of the booking to AMWEC.

Weekend, Holiday & Long Distance Bookings:

For weekend bookings (Friday, Saturday & Sunday), and long distance bookings (venues 1 hour or more away from the central location of the city of Atlanta), the client agrees to forfeit full amount of booking fee set forth in the terms of the booking if the office is not notified at least 14 days prior to scheduled event. Holiday Bookings are non-refundable (unless there is a verified discrepancy on the part of AMWEC or performer(s) and/or services). Full payment set forth in the terms of the booking is required prior to event date for holiday bookings, or bookings scheduled for holiday weekends.

Same Day Cancellations:

Any booking made 24 hours or less prior to the event date/time is considered to be a same-day booking. Same-day bookings require full payment of amount set forth in the terms of the booking. Cancellations for same-day bookings are non-refundable (unless there is a verified discrepancy on the part of AMWEC or performer(s) and/or services).

Client’s Responsibilities:

If initial contact is made between performer(s) and/or services and client prior to event date, the client is responsible for ensuring that permission is granted by a person(s) of authority in cases where an event location is a place of business, or any other venue where there could be a need for an approval, and that information of the approving authority is provided to the performer(s) and/or services. The client is responsible for informing performer(s) and/or services of any possibilities of delay that would hinder arrival time of performer(s) and/or services set forth by terms and agreement at the time of booking. The client is responsible for providing or confirming accurate directions to event venue. The client is responsible for making any scheduling allowances for road construction or rush hour traffic that performer(s) and/or services may encounter while en route to venue. The client is responsible for providing the proper contact information to the performer(s) and/or services. The client is responsible for providing any pre-arranged, alternate event date (‘rain date’) prior to the original event date. If performer(s) and/or services contact client to advise client of possible arrival time later than original arrival time agree to at time of booking, and client agrees to different arrival time, that is considered a legal and binding verbal agreement between performer(s) and/or services and client, and supersedes any original terms and agreements set forth at time of original booking. If no contact is made between client and performer(s) and/or services prior to event date, the client is responsible for providing above said information to an AMWEC representative. Client is responsible for speaking buy phone with an AMWEC representative when providing above required information, or attempting to cancel. Emails, text or any other alternate communication will not be considered legal and valid when contacting performer(s) and/or services, or AMWEC. Client is responsible for documenting date, time and name of AMWEC representative when contacting AMWEC.

Unforeseeable Causes:

AMWEC and/or performer(s) will not be held responsible for late or no arrival on the part of the performer(s) and/or services due to unforeseeable causes including: inclement weather, and/or delays due to road construction, traffic accidents, rush hour traffic or any other unavoidable road hazards verifiable with D.O.T. or other local authorities, or any other delays deemed as “Acts of God”, or “Acts of war”.

Forfeitures:

Client agrees to forfeit any monies owed in accordance with above AMWEC cancellation policies to AMWEC, and agrees to allow AMWEC to collect forfeitures by way of credit card information provided at the time of booking. If initial payment or agreed payment is provided by check, cashier’s check, money order, etc., then client agrees pay forfeitures according to terms set forth in any contractual agreement between client and AMWEC. Credit card transactions for forfeitures are to be finalized immediately upon cancellation. Forfeitures by any other means are to be finalized no later than 72 hours of cancellation. Failure to forfeit any monies owed in accordance with above AMWEC cancellation policies will result in civil action.

Rescheduling:

At the discretion of AMWEC, AMWEC reserves the right to allow client to forward forfeited balance towards another performance and/or service of equal or less value with 14 days of original event date, provided the venue is within the same distance or less of original venue. Events rescheduled in a different location may be subject to additional travel charges. At the discretion of AMWEC, any rescheduled events may be subject to an additional deposit. At the discretion of AMWEC, AMWEC may agree to extend rescheduled event date for the convenience of the client.

Refunds:

AMWEC reserves the right to withhold refund for 72 business hours of cancellation for an inquiry of circumstances to ensure that cancellation procedures fall within the guidelines of above cancellation policies. All refunds will be refunded back to client by way of credit card information provided at the time of booking within 72 hours of cancellation. If no credit card information was provided, then refund will be sent to client via check to mailing address provided by client within 72 hours from the time client confirms mailing address. Performers and/or services affiliated with AMWEC are considered 'Independent Contractors' and may provide their own cancellation policies separate from above policies set forth by AMWEC. AMWEC reserves the right to discuss any independent booking policies with the client during the booking process. The performer(s) and/or services arrange their schedule for your event. It is not likely they will be able to be booked for another event, or to make personal arrangements at the last minute as your event date gets closer; and, should therefore, be compensated for their time.
